That has more to do with his defense then him. He would be 3-1 right now if defense played better. |

Brees has not played that well. Even if the D sucks, that fact still stands. Im not saying he is the sole reason they are losing because thats absurd, but Im sick of hearing this excuse.
And lets not forget that 3 of those losses were against non playoff teams.
I have no doubt they would have a better record if the defense was playing better, but outside of the Green Bay game this past week, he didnt look like "Drew Brees"....at least not consistently. _________________

This has been become such a misconception. Brees has played fine, one of his INTs was on a Hail Mary and 2 more were when we were trying to drive with below a minute left in a game, clearly passing situations that often end in INTs. I believe the Saints lead the league in drops as well, in all seriousness Brees is the last person to blame for the Saints failures and he's played just as well as he has in years past, the only game he looked rusty in was the Washington game. People not to stop sayin this, it simply isn't true. _________________ RTR

I think it's more poetic justice that the Saints are 0-4. |

With a TD pass this weekend, Brees passes Johnny U for most consecutive games with a TD pass. _________________

Also just to be devil's advocate. We all assume he's going to throw a TD on sunday. What do you guys think the reaction would be if he didn't? |

Lol yeah. The team would've been much better off had he not broken those records.
Is there a player in the NFL who doesn't want to break records? _________________

Hoping the Chargers stop him cold. Always saddens me to see a record broken by a lesser player because of how much friendlier the era is. _________________

mco65 this is a warning for using inappropriate and vulgar language. here at FF we consider using symbols to subvert our swear filter to be the same as using the word itself.
