That was two seasons ago, and he's regressed quite a bit since then.
It's not like it was just last week that we were saying how great he was. Heck, before the season even began there was talk of this being a make or break season for Jenkins. |
Exactly. I'm done making excuses for Jenkins, this was his make or break year and he's done nothing to convince me he should remain on this team. He's been arguably our worst defensive player. |
Scott Shanle is still on this team...

You know whats really awful? I honestly think Shanles played better than Jenkins. Shanle has looked pretty decent when blitzing and I've seen him make a good play or two in coverage. I'd rather replace Jenkins right now, he's been absolutely awful.

| One thing that bugs me is the lack of playtime for Wilson, Hicks, Gallette and Abdul-Quaddus who always seem to make plys when they get a shot. Too many of our 1st teamers seem "undroppable" no matter how poor they play! |

I totally agree. 
I was thinking about dead weight on this team yesterday, and they two guys who came to mind immediately were Smith and Jenkins.
You know they're bad when they make Shanle an afterthought.

| not only is Jenkins disappointedly bad, but he gets mad, pushes players and generally acts an [inappropriate/removed] every time he gets burnt. In fact the whole.defense.is bad about that. |
