no it's midwest
i'm sure it's comparable to something you have. kind of a notch above taco bell, but still "fast food" |
I miss Taco Tuesdays from when I worked in the mall. And the six pack and a pound. Potato Oles are the best. _________________

Taco Tuesdays? Sounds like a Del Taco deal. Is Del Taco = Taco John's? _________________

taco tuesday has been around forever, goodness only knows who actually started it.

Taco Bell had something like them a long time ago. I think they called them Border Fries. _________________

Is it called Taco Johns, because you eat the tacos and they make you run to the John?

Arbys. Beef and cheddar is the best thing you can get at a fast food joint. Mozz sticks and curly fries are pretty damn tasty too.
I don't even count Subway as fast food. But I could just go to Publix and make better sandwiches at my house for a few days for what they charge for one. _________________

Love Publix subs. If that counts as fast food, thats my choice. Subway stinks. They barely give you any meats (it's poor quality to boot) and it's so salty. _________________

If Chipotle is in this then Moe's by far, their Queso is boss. Every time I've been to Chipotle they've burned the chicken.
Just discovered Whataburger about two weeks ago and they have one of the best chicken tender sandwiches ever. My judgement of fast food has been off since I quit eating red meat a few years ago though. _________________

I actually had it, it was good. I think Canadians overrate it a bit but I liked it. For the record I had it at the Smoke's outside BMO Field |
The problem with places like Smoke's is they have tried to create this huge variety of Poutine which really makes it something else.
Poutine is fries with gravy and cheese curds. If the fries are prepared properly and a good beef gravy is used the dish is delicious.
One of the problems with the food industry is people change the ingredients of a dish but keep an original name.
We've seen it with many things over the years like Lasagna has become anything that uses a Lasagna noodle with no regard to what the true ingredients in Lasagna are. _________________

I'm not much for fast food but if I'm going to eat it I prefer Subway, Harvey's or good old A&W.
Those claiming Subway is unhealthy must no really be understanding what they are eating at fast food joints. None of it is healthy and deep fried foods are amongst the worst.
As for Quality of bread etc. much of that has to do with individual locations, staff training and management over sight. When Subway is operated correctly the bread is just fine and ingredients are as fresh as they are anywhere else.
We just had Five Guys open in our community and because in previous polls I had read it was good we tried it a few times. It was totally uninspiring and totally average. I'm going to give it a try in the U.S. because perhaps its a location thing. _________________

Subway is AWFUL. If you want a sandwich and don't want to spend much, you're better off going to Quizno's. Much fresher ingredients and the bread isn't bone dry.
I'm not sure I have a favorite, but Chipotle is probably up there. |
My Subway isn't like that at all. I might prefer Quizno's though, not sure. I love all those places. Subway, Quizno's, Jersey Mike's (not sure how big this is), and my favorite: Jimmy John's. |
Subway up in Canada is pretty good.
So is McDonalds (more expensive though, because we have laws for chicken quality ) _________________
