Niners. Gore, Jackson, Hunter and LMJ. That would be a nasty combo. _________________

Depending on what McGahee feels like after this season, I would LOVE Sjax in Denver. He'd be a fantastic weapon in the passing game. _________________

| I think Jackson can still be a steady back in a more two back offense. I could see him landing with the Colts for a chance to start next year, they could be desperate for a RB and probably somewhat willing to open up the checkbook. Of course a playoff team could be in the running too, maybe a team like the Bengals where he can split carries with Law Firm. |

| I think Jackson is still young enough to recover his form and have a couple more good seasons with a contender. Good move for both sides. If Jackson goes to a team like the Giants or Pats look out. |

The Giants seem stacked at RB with Bradshaw, Brown and Wilson.
Hasnt Ridley been playing well for New England, though Jackson would make for an interesting compliment. |

What I was thinking aswell.
What's up with Pead though? |
D-Rich outplayed him and he hasn't gotten much on the field since. Wouldn't mind seeing what he can do but he was struggling in the preseason. He was hesitant hitting the hole. Wasn't adapting well. They might just be developing him further. Didn't seen at all NFL ready. |
Pead was the first small, quick back. Then lmj later in the round. Then Hillman early third.
Pead and James both haven't seen the field.
But Hillman looked good last weak. He could be their RB 2 soon.
Hopefully we get to see some Pead and lmj sometime this year _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

He could end up in San Diego, if they decide that Ryan Matthews simply is not the answer. _________________

Given his injury history, the Chargers could use a really good #2. |

Depending on how Mikel Leshoure does this season, I could see the Lions taking a one year flyer on Jackson, to take carries and serve as a mentor to the younger RBs in the fold. _________________

Detroit makes the most sense to me. _________________

Hes slowing down, and coming to the end of his career, still a very good third down power back with good hands, he will have his suitors in the off season.
Rams must really like Richardson and Pead for the future though. _________________

Thats really admirable of the Rams to do this. Jackson's best years are clearly behind him, but the man has been the only thing moving that offense for years. He played really well for the last 7 years, it will be nice for him to get a chance to catch on with a team that has a shot at the post season. I highly doubt we see him take a lead back role next year, unless its a team like Detroit or Green Bay who doent really have established lead backs. Either way, I have always admired the guy, I wish him the best of luck. _________________

Really I don't see him landing anywhere but GB. Biggest contender with the biggest need for a RB. Benson is serviceable, but with the amount they throw a starting RB with good hands is too good to pass up. _________________
