So do people still think Miami is the worst team in the NFL?

Most of these border teams like Cleveland, Jacksonville and Miami are one big injury away from crapulance.

And getting that big injury should be rather likely.

Trent Richardson for Cleveland.
MJD for Jacksonville.
Bush for Miami.

I can definitely see Miami going 4-12 though even with a healthy Bush.

While I'm a big fan of getting Richardson the ball quite a bit more, I don't think an injury to him greatly hurts the Browns at this time because they don't use him nearly enough right now.

no, its the Saints, really. They can't stop anybody, 0 pressure, I mean 0. Offense is completely discombobulated.

No way. Sure their record is 0-4 but they've played some good teams (besides the Chiefs). They do have the worst defense in the league, but their offense is still top 10.

They can easily get back on track and finish with a respectable record.

Raiders, Titans, Browns, Jags, Chiefs are all inferior to the Saints. Even if record indicates otherwise.

Miami is a highly flawed team, but definitely not the worst in the NFL. I'd actually go with the Raiders. The Browns are pretty bad, but they're a young team with a future. I don't see much potential for the Raiders to get better.

Highly flawed?

The only real flaw I see is that a rookie QB who is still learning his trade starts and that there isn't a real number one WR to lean on.

They still have question marks in the secondary as well, but I still see them as roughly average or better in most areas.

Don't really know what to think. So far we've played a great Houston team and lost, lost a close one to the Jets who I think are worse and that we should have won, and choked away against the Cardinals. Mostly because our kicker sucks. Next 2 games are big. We really should be able to beat Cincinnati and St. Louis, they are average. If we can't beat either then I think we are 4-12 at best.

I think Points Allowed is a good statistic to look at who's doing the best/worst. Right now, the teams that are the worst in terms of Points Allowed are...

1- Titans, -70
2- Raiders, -58
3- Chiefs,-48
4- Jaguars, -35
5- Panthers , -29

So if you value those stats, those are the 5 worst teams in the NFL.

Speaking of the Dolphins, they're at -4. The only other losing team thats better at Points Allowed are the Steelers, with +4.
The biggest problem with using this is you're using it 4 games into the season, where the competition that teams have faced are so different. Some teams have played cupcake schedules and are sitting -13 or something, where another team that is relatively equal has drawn a really tough schedule and is sitting at -70. As much as I dislike the Titans, I have to think that their -70 is more tied to them having faced New England, San Diege and Houston than it is to them being the worst team in the league.

yeah one bad game can sway this number a lot with 4 games. Just look at the eagles, they are -17 in point differential yet are 3-1 and lead their division.

Cleveland's not the worst team in the league this year, even though their brutal schedule will probably result in them getting a very high draft pick. I don't see near the issues there as I do with the Titans, Jets, Chiefs, and Raiders.

And now that Pagano's out with Leukemia and Arians is our HC, our chances of being a bottom 5 team shoot up as well.

Finally! A non-Browns fan who actually realizes the Browns are better than quite a few teams. Yes, teams like Kansas City, Oakland, Tennessee, etc. all have a win but they have also had a much easier schedule than the Browns. Cleveland has had a chance to win every game they've played while the teams I mentioned have all been blown out at least a couple of times this season.

I never thought they were the worst to begin with. (At the very least, they're better than KC.) I can see them having a decent season.
