Tough one, Long might be the better run defender, but Wake is the better pass rusher, so I'll go with him. _________________

Chris Long for sure. Never really been a fan of Wake's. Long has a much more complete game and they are about even as pass rushers. _________________

Long for now because I think he's still getting better. Although Wake has outperformed him so far this season, he's been a nightmare for opposing QBs. _________________

4.5 sacks against the Cards doesn't make up for Wake being shut out for three games before that. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

34 pressures in the first 4 games. Sacks isn't everything. _________________

one reason why i made this thread
| Quote: | | Chris Long and Robert Quinn. While Long didn’t quite see the bump in his sack total that we believed that he might do from facing Bobby Massie, he still added another nine pressures (1 sack, 1 hit, 7 hurries) to take his season total to 34 after just five games. At his current pace, that will give him 109 total pressures for a 16 game season, a simply astonishing number that would obliterate the 83 he got last season. |

If things keep going as planned we might have two of the top5 DEs in the league in a few years. Im surprised that Wake has been playing good tho, thought he would be a good bit worse at DE. But Long is still better _________________
