Welcome! As some of you know, I've run Madden leagues in years past, and NCAA leagues as well, with great success.

This year, I've picked up NBA 2K13, and I've had a blast with it so far.

That being said, I'd love to be in an Online Association with some of the guys on here who also have it.

Personally, I want to have a fantasy draft. In doing so, I think the best bet would be to have each person sign up as a team, then randomize the picking order of all involved, then ensure the top of the draft is arranged in that order (so user players are ensured they get one 'star' player). If the majority want a pure random draft, I'm game for that as well.

I want to have set times to advance the league. Thinking Monday, Wednesday, Friday nights at a certain time. If we advance faster, even better, but I want to keep the league moving.

In addition with keeping the league moving, I'd want to limit the number of people in it. Nothing against large leagues, but they tend to get bogged down.

As far as season goes, I think that 29 games would be a good option. It's not so short like 14, but it also doesn't drag on forever. Again, if the majority want something else, we'll do that instead.

Trading... I'll be honest, I have very little knowledge about how contracts and trades go down in the NBA, and while I know certain players, there's many that I am unaware of. Others might be in the same situation. As a result, I think any trade between users should be posted on here, and have other league members weigh their imputs. Something like 2 or 3 other people's opinions. If they say it's one-sided, but both parties still want to go forth with it (A certain player they like or whatnot), then sure, but I think it could help prevent people getting ripped off.

As for CPU trading... I don't want to fully restrict it, but I think any potential offer you'd make, you first post in here, and have at least 3 approvals or denies before making a move online. As with other things, this is subject to change as the majority sees fit.

All in all, I'm just trying to get a feel for who else is interested in having an online Association, and use this thread to have people sign up / express their interests and provide input.

I want to find out how it plays online vs other users 1st, the last non-football game I played online was the show and it was too chopped and screwed for online play

I rented it from Redbox just to see how it plays...its fun, I'm thinking I'll pick it up.
