One of the things I was praising about this game. PS Growlithe is a tank. Hold off on evolving him until in the mid 40s.
FINALLY able to play. Was at the gfs for thanksgiving

I'll be getting the game sometime this week. I'm getting tired of beating the elite 4 in black/white just to level my Pokemon up.  Got all 6 in the 90's

Just love how many good options you have before the 6th gym. And lol at being able get a lvl 35 volcano a right after the 5th gym...

Good to hear. I'm thinking of starting with Oshawatt in White 2 because I started with Tepig in White. Plus Oshawatts final form looks badass.

Riolu before 1st gym, at the Ranch. 5% chance in the grass so keep trying.
Growlithe you get in the area south of the town with the 2nd badge. In the grass, pretty common. If you have white 2, you can get Elekid there too.

Just got Black 2. Decided to go with Black this time since I chose White in the 1st series. Don't really know the difference besides some different Pokemon.

Black - Magby after gym 1
White - Elekid after gym 1
Black - Cottonee and Buneary after 2
White - Petilil and Skitty after 2
Black - Trubbish and Gothita after 3
White - Minccino and Solosis after 3
Big news here
Black - HERACROSS before 4
White - PINSIR before 4
Other than that - nothing else I can see, in terms of difference in Pokemon. There are an abundance all over the place in both versions. Don't forget, you can get Axew before gym 6!

To sum it up:
White 2 = Elekid and Braviary (Lvl 25 just after the 3rd gym, in the desert. Interaction on Friday's i believe.
Black 2 = Heracross. That's really it, unless you are in to Magby (garbo).
I got Black because I love Heracross
