Not much, just a mention. Aldridge said that he was here with Tyler Moore, member of the Goon Squad, ... |

Nice going Matheny you DA. |
Bloop hits are what guys on the Cardinals not named Holliday, Molina or Beltran are known for. Thought you would be used to that kind of thing by now. |

I know Craig is such a lame hitter his 22 HR and 35 doubles are bloop like. Oh yeah Freese is such a lucky hitter too, his 20HR and 35 doubles were so lucky!
Brewers fans up to no good with their team on the golf course now. Shocker. _________________

Awesome first game. Even with Gio playing like [inappropriate/removed], we found a way. Gio pretty much gifted the Cards 2 runs with like 4 walks in a row lmao. Now Jordan's up. IMO Jordan might be the best pitcher on the team although he had some real bad games in the second half so I am sort of nervous. On offense, we blew so much with RISP. Thank god for T-Moore. Hopefully, the rust is off on guys like Ryan and Harper. Desmond was great as usual, our most consistent offensive player. I think Bryce plays great today. We need this guy to get on base so he can wreck havoc.
Dream scenario for the rest of this series:
Jordan goes 6, Burnett, Clippard, and Storen close in style.
Then next day, EJ has a CG to give our bullpen our rest
Let's go Nats!! That win yesterday made me forget all about RG3 and that other depressing game. _________________ RG3 |

Same, thank God.
I really hope the nerves are out now and guys like Harper and Werth start to settle in. We generally played like crap yesterday and squeezed out a win, I feel good about that. _________________

Cards roughed up Zimmerman pretty good in his two starts this year so hopefully they can do it again.
It'll be interesting to see how Jaime pitches even though he's pretty stellar at home compared to the road. _________________

Easy win for the Cards today. JZ sucks against the Cardinals and Garcia is unstoppable at home.

Shadows are crazy again today. Hitters from both teams yesterday said it was tough to pick up the spin on the ball due to the shadows.
MLB fails so hard at scheduling too. Game 3 Wednesday is at 1 EST. Davey Johnson said today the shadows are terrible at 4 EST so we'll see how they are Wednesday. _________________

Umps strike zone seems to be big if he called that a strike 3 on Jay. _________________

And yet the second pitch to Holliday was dead middle over the plate and called a ball.
Frankly, I'm starting to wonder how accurate the pitch track is. |
