I loved the first one, I thought the second one was okay, I've heard I'm in for disappointment with the third one _________________ Yo, is that time machine done yet? |

I'd love for someone to put together a montage of all these missed holding calls on Jones. I see quite a few every game. _________________

| Just looked up Ridley's stats: 4th leading rusher (edged out for 3rd by a yard by Alfred Morris) and tied for most rushing touchdowns, but by far the most impressive numbers? He destroys the field with 36.3% of his runs going for a first down, easily the highest percentage of any runner with more than 50 carries and a full 5% higher than the next lead runner (Frank Gore), and total first downs, with 37 compared to second place LeSean McCoy's 26. Crazy to think they were actually taking him off the field for Woodhead for long stretches. |

| I think people are overreacting to Jones being held. It's happening a lot, but if you watch any elite pass rusher they are held with the same regularity, and have calls made at about the same rate. It seems bad compared to when we had ninkovich, cunningham and carter rushing, because they werent as good as jones so a) people probably werent watching them as closely to see the holds, and b) the better the pass rusher the more they get held. |

I can't agree with this. Jones has drawn one holding penalty all season. ONE. That is absurd. He has been blatantly held within full view of the ref at least a dozen times already. That doesn't even begin to address the number of times Oher just grabbed him and started choking him in the Ravens game. |

Heck, if we use running backs with a minimum of 12 carries (to weed out Miami's short yardage back with 11), then Bolden (37 carries) is #1 at 37.8%, and Ridley is #2 with 36.3%.
And (thanks to Pro Football Reference's new Play Finder) I found that the 2011 Pats RBs had 34 carries for at least 10 yards. In 2010, it was 42. In five games this year, the Pats have 27, which to put things into perspective, puts them on pace for 86.
I'm not going to go through the work of adding other teams' week 5 stats, but through 4 weeks, the Pats had 20 10+ yard runs by RBs. No other team in the NFL had more than 17. The Packers through three weeks had one, and that was for 11 yards.
Edit: These numbers are a little off. For example, that 2011 stat is actually 34 in 13 games. PFR hasn't updated every game for some reason, or this would be another super awesome tool from them.
Edit2: Just went through and confirmed myself. Through 5 games, the Pats have 27 RB runs for 10+ yards. The Packers have two. _________________ Shut up, NBT

Just realized something. Brady only has one pick this year. It was tipped. _________________ Shut up, NBT |
