The only good thing about this is that Earl Bennett should be back soon and we can fill him in.
We are deep at WR.

I think we need a vet WR that knows the NFL game and can catch 1-3 passes a game and run good routes.
Mark Clayton formerly of the Rams would be okay.

Rashied had an injury settlement with the Bears, so they might not be able to sign him until week 8.
Keep in mind that Joe Anderson is still on the practice squad, and he looked pretty good in preseason. |

Agreed. Jeffery will be back by the time whoever we bring in can do better then what we already have. If we do, he'll be a special teamer then probably cut when Alshon is active. |

Im not to worried about it. The Bears havent been playing with alot of WR's on the field once. Earl Bennet wasnt even playing that many snaps before he got injured.
I agree with what someone else said earlier, I say bring up someone from the practice squad. I think those guys looked good enough to be the 5th WR.
One argument for a FA though is that we would really be skating on thin ice as far as if another injury was to occur.

Sucks. I don't see us adding a WR of consequence though. I expect that everyone else temporarily bumps up a spot and that we will potentially see some Weems offensive reps. Probably see more 22 in the passing game too. So long as 15 is healthy our WR should be fine though.

I forgot about Weems but he actually had a good preseason with us, I remember him playing pretty well with Campbell at least.
