That play in the 3rd qtr 7.05 min mark.
Someone screwed up.
You had linemen past the LOS (shouldn't that be a flag?) but the WRs were running routes and so was Ridley.
Brady faked to no one..looked like he was shocked that Ridley ran away from him. |

| Saw the Vollmer injury. He and few other players were going for the ball and were tumbling around for it. He kinda limped back to the sideline. |

The Patriots need Steve Gregory back - he helps McCourty and Tavon did not impress me at all today. Got toasted on the Thomas big play/fumble. _________________

Of the two safeties that got the majority of snaps yesterday, Wilson is the one you took issue with? Did you see the game Chung had? |

I put most of those plays on Sterling Moore not being able to cover. He was a bit late getting over on the second play, but Moore offered almost no resistance on the LOS.

I counted thrice. On two of them Chung had different responsibilities. The other one he did get over a bit late, but Moore offered no resistance to start the play. Dennard looked SO much better. _________________

Where do you think Dennard is currently on the depth chart? I mean, he looks like he can cover better than any one of our defensive backs. Does he start next week, presumably opposite McCourty? Or is he the nickel back? _________________

Anyone notice that Dowling was playing as an in-the-box safety a few times?

Yeah, as i pointed a few times yesterday he played the big nickel role that Rodney Harrison played on the past few years he was with the Pats and that Wilson played since the start of the season.
I wouldn't expect it to continue once Steve Gregory comes back because Dowling only did it since he had to replace Wilson on that role because Wilson was playing on the regular Safety spot. _________________

Probably cover for Wilson. Although Dowling should let Wilson play in the box. Wilson is better there, he's not quick enough to cover deep. _________________
