It'll definitely be interesting to see how we play the TEs. I think with our big bodied TEs we should play them in bump coverage but I doubt we actually do. Giving them free releases is just a death sentence in all honesty. _________________

That will be interesting. If we can bring some pressure, we stand a chance. We have to get the D off the field, that's paramount. |

I think this is the first time he will be a game time decision, but don't quote me on that.
It was a 4-6 weeks injury when it happened, this would be week 4. If he does play, he won't be 100% |
He was questionable for the game against Denver, I expect him to be probable and a gtd. |
He started practicing last week, so you're right, he'll probably be a game time decision. _________________

Bruce Irvin on the other hand has 4.5 sacks on his own.

For the record, Chandler has three of those 3.5 sacks .
This should be a good game. Russell Wilson is my guy (and he got screwed on at least one of his picks last week) and I think he could have a good game against our defense. We're going to focus on stopping Lynch and playing a cloud defense against the intermediate game, I would guess. If Wilson can take advantage and go over the top, whomever is against Kyle Arrington should be open .
Other side of the ball, my guess is that we're going to try to get Bruce Irvin on the field and then no-huddle run it down your throats. I'm also not sure who on your team covers Welker since your corners are all on the bigger side (although I just found out that Marcus Trufant is STILL in the NFL, which is insane.) I think that Welker and the running game will be key in this matchup.
And Hernandez may play, but I think that Daniel Fells has established himself as a key blocker as well. Hern may not play a ton of snaps.
Should be a good game though! Let's hope no one gets injured! _________________

I'm really looking forward to this one. Whilst your D is light out - I do think though, that however well it does, you've got to be able to put points on the board to beat us and I'm not seeing where the matchups look good for you on that side of the ball. We've been pretty stout against the run this year - but struggled at times (again!) in the passing game.
Could well be wrong, hope it's a good game - I'm sure it will be. |

That's what worried me. We have to force at least 2 turnovers (or maintain a +2 margin) and give ourselves some short fields in the return game in order to win this. Golden Tate is our only player that can take the lid off a defense, so we need Rice, Miller and Baldwin to continue to step up like last week. We need to set up some screen plays (to running backs and tight ends, not just receivers on the edge) to take some pressure off of russell wilson. Leon and turbin can both be explosive in this regard. We are going to have to pass to open up the run, and simple play action fakes won't get it done solely
Build on a passable performance last week bevell...please _________________

This is a HUGE game for the Hawks if we can win this thing and come out of it healthy, and headed to San Fran. at 4-2 would be huge for us..
This Patriots offense will be a true test to our defense this will be the best offense we will face all year long, besides Detroit, but I think the Lions can't even match to what the Patriots can throw at you. This is a scary game the Hawks need to play nearly a perfect game to win. _________________ Adopt-a-Hawk
