I really liked Houston coming out of college, but at this point I think it's too early to really tell. Kerrigan had the better rookie season, Houston is playing better so far this year. Houston has some ground to make up, but I think he is able to. But, end of year 3 is where I'll be able to more definitively tell. Right now though, Kerrigan has the slight edge due to longevity. _________________

What? Really? He has played every single snap of every single game since being drafted? Can anyone confirm this?
That is absolutely insane for a front 7 player if that is true. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

He played every snap last year (only Redskin to do this in 2011) and I cannot recall a snap he has missed this year, although I am not 100% certain. He plays DE when the team has 4 down lineman, and he's good in coverage; there's no reason for him to come off, particularly with his fitness. He's an ironman of football. _________________

I'll take Kerrigan if only because I trust his character and effort moreso than Houston. Obviously Houston has been very good to this point and he's probably the more dominant player physically... but I trust Kerrigan more to not make dumb decisions off the field. Testing positive at the combine is failing the idiot test. That may not be Houston, but until I can see multiple years strung together without incident... as well as with effort, then I'm going to go with the player that I can more aptly trust when the discussion is so close between their impact.
... and don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Houston is a bad guy by any means, just that I trust Kerrigan more to this point. _________________
