This sucks. I've wanted Chris Ivory since preseason before we signed Benson. I think he could shine if given the right opportunity.. Make it happen TT!
Isn't Steve Slaton still out there?
Regardless, I'm just talking..we will roll with Green, Kuhn,
Saine, and hopefully Cobb. We need to use him more like the Vikes use Harvin..I've never been a Starks fan. _________________

If they want Williams they can have him, maybe future 7th rounder, call it even for our current long snapper (JJ Jansen). Williams is worthless right now, and Stewart was just re-signed, that plus the injuries and he's not tradeable from either side of it.
Sounds like Slaton is going to Arizona, Hightower is injured, so.....Joseph Addai? Either that or just stick with who they have, and have a pass-run of 80-20. _________________

I'd say "done deal" but... we don't need another injury-prone RB, really. _________________ much thanks to nobody on the sig. FF GBP Forum Wiki Page. |

Jordan Todman sitting on the Vikings practice squad. I think he could be a good player and some in the Vikings forum think he'd fit in perfectly with the Packers offense. _________________

Our RB situation was worse when Grant went down in 2010 leaving us with Brandon Jackson. We won the Super Bowl that year.
Alex Green will do just fine. _________________ Ted brought us Clay

That and no RB outside of Peterson is worth a 1st. _________________ Ted brought us Clay

Packers have three RBs under 26 years of age, all with good speed and at least 220 pounds, we have three kids with the physical tools to be a feature back, hopefully we'll get lucky like we did with Ryan Grant in 2008. _________________

LeSean McCoy is, he would be sick in the Packer backfield. Though that would never happen, just saying. I have always felt that a back like McCoy would be brilliant in GB but they never seem to get that type of RB. They seem to prefer those bigger, power backs like Benson and to a lesser extent, Grant. |

I added both on my fantasy team and am taking a wait and see approach with them... My guess is Green gets first crack. Starks apparently is over his turf toe, so he will be active next game |

Green is an intriging prospect for the Packers but the facts as of right now:
-Hasn't picked up Pass Pro as much as the Packers would've liked.
-Ran the ball 9 times for 55 yards, which looks good on paper but that includes one run for 41 and one for 9. When there isn't a clear hole he has a tendency to go east-west.
-McCarthy showed no faith in running the ball with him on the field.
I really wouldn't be surprised to see Saine end up being the starter by years end if Benson doesn't come back. _________________ @PJHotel_ |
