The Barney nanny thing was pretty fun. |
Yeah this one was better but not a real plot progressor which is interesting. _________________

This show is beyond awful at this point.
Don't even know if I'll be able to finish it out, even after making it this far. If the writers aren't going to make an effort, maybe I shouldn't, either. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |

Best episode of the season so far, but it still wasn't a great one. Marshall's childhood toy thing was beyond funny, but Barney wasn't funny, I still hate Victoria and Nick, and I'm over the baby angle for Marshall and lily. _________________

Agreed, not a good episode.
HIMYM biggest problem, 24 episodes. Give em 12 episodes, and work for actual progress in the storyline. F- these filler episodes. _________________

Victoria and Nick need to go, but they have to be gone by the end of the month right? (I think both got dumped in October). _________________

Yeah, when it is this late, they really shouldn't be having all these filler episodes. Nothing was revealed here. _________________

Agreed. This thing has just gone down the tubes. Astounding lack of originality or substance from the writers. Wrap it up. _________________ Never looking back, or too far in front of me.

This episode didn't reveal much either. But they are going to close all the loose ends before they get into the storyline so much. They also have no idea whether they are doing a season 9 or not and it shows. _________________

I loled at Barney's booty call phone and his response. The Broller is pretty sweet too, rather ingenious.
I liked the episode. Actually made me laugh, and it had it's sweet/realistic moments.

Totally agree. I knew it had a weird vibe, couldn't really point my finger on it. _________________

I kind of hope that the writers are watching 30 Rock and are trying the whole tanking it ploy to get the show cancelled. This show is going nowhere. It still gives me a cheap laugh once or twice an episode but I am just not invested in the characters or story anymore. CBS needs to give the show a definite end date. Heard from a friend the ratings are going down so maybe... _________________
