This is the best team we've arguably ever had on paper in the past 2.5 decades. Aside from depth, all of the guys on this team have remarkable chemistry. Everyone gets along great & they're always doing activities together off of the court (most of the main guys have been hanging out during the offseason). Obviously, none of this means much if they don't play defense & don't stay healthy, but I think we will surprise a lot of people.

Pretty stoked for Bogut & all of the intangibles he brings aside from defense/being a physical presence. His attitude alone will bring the best out of everybody.
Also excited to see Klay Thompson's progression. He had an event filled off season & worked super hard on his weaknesses. I see him breaking out this season. _________________ (o◕ ‿‿◕o)// |

God i hate the Lakers, just when we have hope they go out and get Superwoman. Hopefully we make the postseason and Steph's ankles don't get destroyed again |

Festus Ezeli might be our opening day starting Center if Bogut can't go. _________________

I don't think Warrior fans could have asked for a better off-season from 1st year GM Bob Myers. This team should be pretty good if they can stay healthy. _________________

Even though I like Barnes as a prospect, there shouldn't be much hype for his rookie season. He's going to be the 5th option on offense if he starts, sharing minutes with Rush, Jefferson, Thompson and Green at SF. _________________

He's having a really good camp. Everyone on staff is really impressed with his athleticism & effort on defense so far. Mark Jackson is trying to hush the hype though by bringing him along slowly. Right now, it's his job to lose as far as starting goes.
I think our 30th pick, Ezeli, will likely be more important to this team this year than Barnes. He's most likely backing up Bogut & he's looked really good so far defending the paint. His progression is moving really fast. _________________ (o◕ ‿‿◕o)// |

Agreed. He'll prove to be a huge defensive presence for the Warriors behind Bogut. I really like his potential. _________________

Barnes is not the 5th option, he's possibly the 4th and possibly third depending on the role Curry takes(assuming he becomes more pure point than scorer, which is doubtful).
Either way, we have a good team that could possibly be very good.
I think this team has potential to be a top 5 seed if they stay healthy and everyone fulfills their roles. _________________

Barnes isn't a good enough dribbler or passer to get the ball ahead of the other 4 starters. His main role as a rookie will be to spot up and slash. I think he'll do well. _________________

including Bogut? The guy who was pretty average as a scorer throughout his career? Doubtful. I think the most interesting thing about this season is to see the role guys assume. Curry is a phenomenal shooter, but we have 3 very talented offensive players in Thompson, Lee and Barnes. He could easily put up 8+ apg if he so wishes. Thompson is a deadly shooter but still has a lot of growing to do in the rest of his offensive game and Barnes can basically score in every way possible. However, he isn't great in any one way. I also think his handles are average but it sounds like that's his #1 priority and i expect it to improve greatly by seasons end.
4th option is absolutely his spot to lose. he could take third option depending on the game/circumstance. But Bogut is not going to be the a featured offensive player. _________________
