Who said taking Floyd was a bad pick? I wouldn't agree with that either.
I also don't agree with Bickley's assessment of Roberts as a "rising star" pre-2012 draft. It's painfully obvious Mr. Bickley is thinking in the now with that statement and completely ignoring Roberts horribly mediocre 2011 play. |
The way I read ther article made me think that's what he was saying. It said they took Michael Floyd with the 13th pick although Andre Roberts is a rising star.It says it's like a gambler chasing lost money, that they keep paying for the same mistake?
Ummm. I am not so sure about this. They have a big board and have stuck to it. If that was an OL then they would have taken one. |

You're right, that it what it says now i think about it.
I don't agree with Bickley at all. Not a shocker, the guy's an idiot. _________________

Floyd looked like a good pick at the time and it was hard to argue against it. He was arguably the top receiver in the draft and I still don't think it was a bad pick. What gets lost in all of this is that Roberts and Doucet are good receivers. They are not great and are not be #1s but they are undoubtedly good. Whiz makes his rookies work and Floyd has done nothing to unseat Doucet and Roberts. Draft status is not enough to become a starter. _________________

Would have signing Carl Nicks made it impossible to extend D-Wash & CC? _________________
