Quote:
Vines said he didn't even realize the other driver was none other than Ndamukong Suh, who was suspended last season for stomping another player. He made the news again when he lost control and crashed his classic car in Portland.

Now Suh is accused of sideswiping Vines, berating him and leaving the scene of the accident, damaging a Ford Escort that actually belongs to Vines' children.

who cares? what does this have to do with football, other than it happened to a football player?

is he going to be suspended? does it affect the team? not likely.

Actually he might get suspended so calm down.

His license should get suspended and he probably will get a league suspension too. I hope he does. We aren't doing anything this year, might as well teach the idiot a lesson. I'm so tired of all of this off field crap. I'm tired of our 'leader' being an idiot. I want to introduce Suh to Red Forman. Maybe he could kick some sense into him.

Exactly.

Very interesting that this guy decided to follow Suh after the accident instead of just noting down his license plate number. You would think a guy from Detroit would know better than to chase after a luxury car owner that didn't want to stop.

Sideswiping a car in now newsworthy?

Yup, and this time, I believe the story with it. One time could be a fake but multiple times and it's a pattern. Suhs got a pattern of hitting stuff with his car and blaming the others involved.

It could have implications on the team. Pretty newsworthy.

I knew he was a punk since early in his rookie season, so this does not surprise me. He's really talented so his team isn't going to care much, and I doubt he gets a suspension for this.

For as much flack as Goddell gets for being a harsh disciplinarian, I actually think he's not strict enough with players getting themselves in embarrassing situations like this.

This isn't any less news than a domestic violence arrest. Hit-skip and DV are both first degree misdemeanor offenses. I didn't hear any criticism of posting a story when Chad Johnson did his best Stone Cold imitation on his now ex-wife. Suh has anger issues. I get the feeling that it's only a matter of time before something really bad happens with him off the field.

I agree with this. It's sort of sad for Lions fans, as he's just further proving himself to be an arrogant SOB that might literally be insane... But it's not going to translate into anything on the field whatsoever.

Lions forum has people calling for us to trade him. That's nonsense.
