I haven't watched Ponder to really comment... but your only argument is based off 5 games... |

I will take a wait and see approach, but he wasn't very efficient OR explosive last season. Until he does it for a bit more than 5 weeks, I don't see how you could take him over the other QB's in that division. This is probably the one division in football (with maybe the NFCE) in which the worst is not bad. _________________

| I have no issue with Ponder as the last QB in the division. But if we are basing it on this years performance, it has to be Stafford. |

I don't think so.. Stafford had a year that Ponder might not ever repeat. He gets the benefit of the doubt.. But I feel like teams have figured out how to stop them.. Last year was a short lockout season.
Defenses really struggled, that might have contributed to his success. _________________

I can understand being a frustrated fan with your QB's play because Fitz is nothing close to special but Sanchez is the worst QB in the league right now, bar none. |
You forgot about Cassel...and the difference in weapons btw KC/NYJ.
As for the other talk, I wish someone like STl or TB would give up on their QB so KC would have a chance at them. |
Don't worry, you'll have Barkley soon enough. |
They already have Brady Quinn. That's enough overdrafted QBs for one team. _________________

Which is why I agree that Stafford is a much better QB than Ponder. But ignoring everything prior to 2012, Ponder has played slightly better than Stafford. Depends on what the argument is, who is playing better right now, or who is the better overall player considering career accomplishments? |

He has the arm but is way too careless with the ball and that turns me off big time. I hate QBs who try and force things that aren't there, not to mention he has a bit of an attitude problem but that shouldn't factor at all into how good/bad he is. He has been no better than average his entire career. I value not being too reckless with the ball as a great priority to have. |

Even if you think Kolb is better, whatever. He has better stats and I know 99.9% of the people on this site derive their opinions from stats. But Bradford has been easily better than Russell Wilson.
|
Or, I have a bias against Bradford since he came into the league? Rams should have taken Vick and drafted Suh. Always maintain that.
As for right now? Bradford and Wilson are equals in my mind, but Wilson has the scrambling advantage.
I'm not going to argue Kolb is a good QB, but the rankings I'd do of the NFC West QBs are this:
Alex Smith: 7
Kevin Kolb: 6
Russel Wilson: 5.1
Sam Bradford: 5.0
Pretty weak division for QBs.
And for Cam Newton, I'm speaking this year. He's been bad. |
I think a huge bias. _________________

I definetly would have rather had Bradford over Vick. Atleast Bradford has potential. VIck has never even shown that he can stay healthy or be consistent so.
And RGIII>>>Vick |

If its this year, Ponder>Stafford, but its not really a fair comparison since Stafford does a lot a more than Ponder in the passing game. _________________

Its not fair that Ponder isnt as talented as Aaron Rodgers. _________________ XBL/PSN: Chainedsniper |
