There are easily 10 WR's better, probably 15, so no. _________________ Not removing until:

He's not top 10. Top 20-25ish is more like it.
He will probably never be asked to be an orthodox receiver, but he is one of the best all around weapons in the game. _________________

He isn't an "orthodox receiver" but that doesn't make him any worse.
Saying that, of course he has his least productive day of the year on offense. _________________

But he redeems himself with a 105 kickoff return for a TD. _________________

Percy Harvin is an amazing talent, and blew me away yesterday, but this is getting out of hand with some of you. _________________

You dont think Harvin has a legit argument as being a top 10 WR? |

No. He is the most explosive football player on the planet right now, though. _________________

How does he not though? Harvin has to be a top 15 WR right now, I dont even think that can be questioned. I think anyone in the top 15 could have an argument as being a top 10 WR. Really, its a small margin. |

Megatron
Andre
Fitz
Smith
White
Wayne
Cruz
Nicks
Green
JJ
Those are ten off the top of my head that I don't think Harvin has any business being ranked above at this stage. _________________

Steve Smith and Julio Jones, I'm guessing. _________________

While Harvins having an incredible season, theirs no way he's a top 10 WR. The guy has never eclipsed 1000 yards, 10 TDs or 90 catches.
Off the top of my head I'd take all of these WRs over Harvin but it could change by the end of the season if he keeps this up.
Larry Fitzgerald
Calvin Johnson
Steve Smith
Andre Johnson
Roddy White
Julio Jones
A.J. Green
Reggie Wayne
Victor Cruz
Mike Wallace
Brandon Marshall
and thats just off the top of my head _________________

It's not even close. He might be the best player in the league in terms of getting YAC, but as a pure WR he's not close. His hands, route running, ability to go deep, etc. don't compete with the guys routinely considered at the top of the position. _________________ Not removing until:

Harvin has very reliable hands. Where he struggles is route running down field, concentration down field and getting open down field. Hands are the least of Harvin's concerns. He caught 87 passes last year and if he stays healthy, he should catch over 100 passes this year.
I generally agree that Harvin has a better argument as a top 15 WR than a top 10 WR. |
