I like Dezmine Wells. Remember him well from watching highlights of the WOG state title game (I was watching for J-Wall, but still...). He definitely made an impression. _________________

PG Roddy Peters signs with the Terps!

Quote: | Less than two weeks ago, Turgeon and the Maryland Terrapins lost out on Andrew and Aaron Harrison to Kentucky. Now, only 12 days later, they've got their man: Roddy Peters, a composite four-star prospect and the most highly-regarded recruit in Maryland's recruiting area, committed to the Terrapins today, choosing the Terps over the likes of Kansas, UCLA, and Georgetown. |

Maryland will give Kentucky a really good game tomorrow, I wouldn't even be surprised to see them win. _________________

I really like that it's the first game of the season. I think this'll be the best time to catch a young Kentucky team. Wells is a HUGE addition at the 3 spot.
1-Howard
2-Faust
3-Wells
4-Padgett
5-Len
Is pretty solid. I don't expect UMD to win, but I definitely think they'll give Kentucky a close game at the least. |

The ACC is going to be so fun to watch over the next few years between Duke, UNC, N.C. State, Maryland, Florida State, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh. _________________

I think Maryland is going to have a good year. Stoglin is a big loss, but it begs asking whether the TEAM will be better without him.
I actually like the starting lineup of Howard, Faust, Layman, Cleare, Len, but Padgett will probably start initially. I like how long this team is and the type of team that Turge is building.
I'm also praying we land the Harrison twins. That would be a major coup and I don't think it's a slam dunk that they go to Kentucky the way some are declaring. | you live in md? Went to md? I see you in the redskins forum sometimes. I just figured you came in because of he broncos and Shanahan. Like you were still wanting to see him or something. _________________ RIP SSF mike23md
