Indy ranks #22 in run defense. | Thats how you determine the pick? Our starting AND backup NTs have been out all season, and the big games that inflated that stat we were without our entire DL and MLB. Try again. _________________

Solid draft for the Steelers that addresses needs. I really like Johnson in the third. Mingo would be a good pick even though there are players on the board that I really like. Trufant is okay in the second. I would like Rambo there but his off the field problems are a concern. _________________

17. Philadelphia- John Jenkins, DT, Georgia
I don't see us picking this late or taking a DT in round 1 since we will most likely have a new HC (aka new QB) and we just took a DT in round 1 this year, but Jenkins would compliment Cox very well.
46. Philadelphia- Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
I can't see Matthews sliding out of the 1st round, but would love him this late
79. Philadelphia- Khaseem Greene, OLB, Rutgers
We have bigger needs along the OL (even with the Matthews selection) and both safety spots, but Greene would look good in green.
112. Philadelphia- Da'Rick Rogers, WR, Tennessee Tech
Love it, but I think he goes in round 3
145. Philadelphia- Ben Gardner, DE, Stanford
I don't know anything about him, so I can't judge the pick
174. Philadelphia- Ryan Griffin, TE, U.Conn.
Don't know who he is either
213. Philadelphia (Via Indianapolis)- Josh Johnson, CB, Purdue
I frequently mock him to us, so I definitely like the pick
Good draft, but we failed to address safety and C, which are 2 glaring needs on this team. _________________

Who is your starting NT, because I went down the roster on the team page and I didn't see a single guy worthy of starting? The Colts stunk against the run last year too. They've stunk against the run for years, no matter if it was a 4-3 scheme or a 3-4 scheme. You desperately need a NT if you're gonna stick with a 3-4 scheme. I do realize that Angerer has been hurt. That guy is a stud, but in a 3-4, you need two quality inside LB's and he can't do it all himself. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. Really? Nick Foles looked extremely impressive in the preseason. You don't think he'd get a chance to start? As far as Jenkins, he is a run stuffing NT, whereas Cox was more of a pass rushing UT. I think they could compliment each other quite well.

I think his limitations as a pure RT, could very well push him to round 2. Especially with so many teams needing LT help.

Rogers' off the field issues and the fact that he looks good, but not great at tiny Tennessee Tech, may push him back a round or two.

Bigger, edge pass rusher who has helped Stanford to be one of the top schools in the NCAA, at gathering sacks.

Solid TE, who could give the QB, another receiving option.

I actually mocked Safety Ray Ray Armstrong to you in the 6th round with the pick you guys acquired from Denver. Armstrong's off the field issues may push him far down in the draft, but if he stays out of trouble, he could be a steal. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. Josh Chapman is a promising rookie.
So we've been playing with Mookie Johnson at NT. and we still held Chris Johnson, AP, and Forte to under 100 yards.
We've not been as bad as you think against the run. We looked awful in everything against the Jets, and we flat couldn't tackle Greene, and MJD had one long run that severely inflated his stats, ntm he has always been a Colt killer.
NT is not a first round need until we see Chapman play.
It certainly isn't more important that protecting Luck, replacing Freeney, or getting a playmaker at SS. _________________

Really like the Steelers draft. Mingo would be great and I'm a fan of Trufant. No complaints if it fell that way from me at all! _________________

Lions didn't trade their 5th round this year for Mike Thomas, it is for their 2014 5th round. |

In the last 30yrs the Cowboys have used a first round pick on the OL once and it was for a franchise LT. Don't see them using one on a guard _________________

I wish people would stop giving the Steelers early round CBs. _________________

Your secondary is the achilles heel of your team. Ike Taylor has been burned numerous times this year. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. And then, you just have to pick the sin you can live with." -Ig Perrish |

Nice for ATL. Think you were a little to generous though. Think Rchardson is a first rounder (we got him in the second) think Wilson is a 2nd-3rd (we got him in the 4th). No complaints here though.
You made me cry a bit thinking of how happy I would be. _________________
