Jenkins isn't bad, I'd rather have Williams from Alabama.
Jenkins just seems like a huge dude, but not very athletic (see Dontari Poe). Pat Williams was a huge guy (I always laugh when the broadcasts list him at 318 lbs, they'd be closer if they flipped the 1 and 8 around) but as big as he was, he was super athletic. Kevin Williams was so dominant because they would need to block Pat with 2 linemen and he would still push them back into the pocket. While he was doing that, he could shed blocks and get the rb, or he could split linemen and rush the passer. He was definitely an underrated D-Lineman, and way more than just a big belly that gets in the way. _________________
