I pray the Bengals keep giving Green, Sanu and Hawkins the majority of snaps. Marvin Jones as well once he's healthy. They need to stop the Tate and Binns experiments unless it's to give the top 4 a breather.
If they do, I think we'll see more days like this for Dalton. Not this good, but closer to this then what he was doing during the four game losing streak... _________________

Before he got hurt Binns was getting open as much or more than Jones and Sanu. _________________

Pleased for Andy and the entire offence. Big step to beat the G-men, especially considering three of the TD passes were on 3rdD, given our struggles on 3D thru much of the seaspn. A solid win against a play-off calibre team, something we haven't had much of recently......
Andy legit ? It seems other contributors on here disagree though ...... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Nope, there have been at least two in other threads that think Dalton is the #1 problem......... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Considering how many short fields we had, the defense should have been the Offensive Player of the Week.

He also doesn't "contribute" to the conversation at all either. _________________

It was a good game from a good QB against one of the worst 3-4 defenses in the league. If he could have a game like this against Pittsburgh or Baltimore or anyone else with a someone competent defense. He struggles.
He played great against CLE, JAC, NYG and WAS. TERRIBLE against PIT, BAL, MIA and so so against DEN. I am not making this up. He CLEARLY struggles in big games and against tough defenses.

I want the guy to be successful. I really do. However, we can't win in the playoffs (assuming we get there) with his struggles against top defenses. You don't play scrubs in the playoffs usually. _________________

The only problem that I have with patently saying Dalton played poorly in those games is that the oline was less than stellar in them. I get what you are saying. he is not elite. i agree. he doesnt't have a cannon tied to his right shoulder (he still underthrows AJ all the time... just last week green had to STOP AND WAIT for the long TD pass on the first drive). But I do think he definitely has all the other skills and qualities you look for in a QB.
let me put it another way. I would prefer dalton and his qualities over Palmer's off the charts measurables, because at the end of the day palmer couldn't lead this team out of a wet paper bag. And not unlike Dalton, he had his best years when the oline was at it's best. _________________

All QB's 'struggle' against tough defences, thats why they're called 'tough' defences; and like all QB's Dalton goes as his o-line goes. _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked.
