Cody Rhodes apparently suffered a shoulder injury during the Main Event taping. At this point his status for sunday is in question and he could miss some time. This sucks. Rhodes Scholars are awesome, and this is really gonna hurt not only them, but the whole tag division in my opinion. _________________

Well... looks like they might have just found their way to get Barrett involved in the SS tag.
Edit: Though I heard it was a concussion, not a shoulder injury. _________________

He's already on Team Ziggler...
Sucks for Rhodes though, he supposedly has a concussion too, either he sells like an injury like a champ and deserves an oscar, or he won't be ready for a few weeks. His landing looked nasty. _________________

Same here. I haven't really been involved too much since shortly before HIAC. | I was in the same boat, just started watching again after at least 8 years. Punk & Cena are entertaining, and the personality they've allowed Kane to show after being the mute monster for so long...WOW...who knew a guy that scary could be that funny. But for the most part I'm seriously unimpressed, especially w/ Ryback. My god I was hoping that Maddox was just going to totally destroy him b/c he's no good whatsoever. _________________

I started getting bored after they started giving Ryback a push. I watch for Punk, Dolph and Bryan. Del Rio is hit or miss for me, I love his matches but not his feuds. _________________

I was really disappointed in the directions they have gone for Survivor Series . There were so many better options to go with than what they did. It started with a sub par HIAC, and has carried over into Survivor Series.
I hate that they are operating PPV-to-PPV once again. They have no long term plan again and its really showing. I know the Cena injury & rapid accent of Ryback change things, but the are jut throwing things against the wall again.
I dont like the thought of "The championship should be defended at every PPV". It sets a bad precident, that you already know its not changing hands anywhere other than the PPV. I know thats how it usually is, but atleast the allure of switching hands anytime/anywhere is something to be preserved. It also results in a crutch for creative, that they just let the "Title" be the story instead of building one around it.
A place like Survivor Series or Royal Rumble are special enough events that you dont have to have the WWE Champion defend his title. He needs to be involved in some way, but he doesnt have to have a title defense.
This Survivor Series would have been the perfect place. They had the right idea in the "Main Event" Survivor Tag Match. It was a way to have a Super Main Event, with a ton of big names, and you wouldnt have to have the Titles defended and it wouldnt take away from the PPV. You could have used the match to futher/set up new feuds, have a major over-arching feud, Brought back Superstars, and even intro new guys and have some substance to them.
Ill Say it one more time, even though it cant happen anymore. McMahon vs Heyman would have been the best way to go, the power struggle over the GM position is a easy & great story to set up a bunch of other ones. You get the 6 Biggest names in 1 match, and even more premier guys.
Team McMahon: John Cena, Sheamus, Triple H, Ryback & Christian
vs
Team Heyman: CM Punk, Big Show, Brock Lesnar, Brad Maddox, Mark Henry
Add in Vince & Paul on commentary for the match, and who isnt salivating over this Main Event for one of the Big 4 PPVs? |

Was watching it live ... pretty solid match (definitely one of my favorites from the two of them)
Also Del Rio and Rosa Mendez on raw ... figured that was gonna happen _________________

Finally I can say I am going to a Raw for the first time since 2009 (last time Raw was here)
I was gonna be pissed because the tickets went on sale an hour ago and I went to the TC box office like 40 minutes ago and the closer I was to the ticket booth the people that work there kept saying they dont have any lower level seats. Only limited view lower seats (worst lower level seats ever) and upper level seats. Then I saw a lady in front of me buy 11 tickets.
Got up there and I asked for one and I'm glad they had a lower level seat left. _________________
