We need to bring back Ray Edwards...

He always worked well with our DLine because everyone had to worry about Allen,Williams and now Robison. and he'd be great depth to have back. But since he was released I doubt we'll get the chance to have him again.

I already think Robison is a better overall defensive end.

Umm no we don't. Not only is Robison better but so is Everson Griffin. We need depth at other positions before Defensive end.

I won't lock it this time, because it can have its' own thread...but so you know VNW, we've been talking about it for 3 days already in the Where are they now thread.

And I'll reiterate here what I said there. There's absolutely no point in disrupting the locker-room to bring him in, because he's not going to add anything. Someone else can give him a shot. The Vikings don't need him.

the answer is nothing. He'd likely be the 4th or 5th DE anyways.

As someone else said, I'd rather have D'Aundrae Reed on the team than Edwards.

While I like Ray, we don't really have the need nor the reps to warrant a return.

It's hard to justify bringing Ray Edwards back. We've moved on since he bolted in free agency and adjusted the roster accordingly. There's really no place.

Who does Edwards replace, that is the question. He wouldnt be an upgrade over Robison. He wouldnt be an upgrade over Griffen. Sure he would be an upgrade over Reed, but how much has Reed played the last two years. Never.
