He sucks at pretty much everything. It is not hard to catch a ball thrown right to you. He is flat out a liability, so is Armanti Edwards. |
No, he is very good at covering the slot. In fact I hope the team keeps him for that role specifically. The problem is he cannot play the outside and be a #2, in fact everyone starting opposite of Gamble has been putrid this year in that role. This team needs a #2 CB badly and at least 1 new S.

Oh my god, what a terrific throw by Newton on the run.
Why can't he do that consistently?
And we haven't ran a single play under center since Stew's 10 yard run. |

The announcer said he watched all of our screen plays from this year and Hangartner never blocked anyone until that screen play? Sheesh, he's terrible!

good variety on that drive to get us the score. all set up with good field position by joe adams.
time to see nothing remotely like it for the rest of game.

Why does Godfrey always do that silly celebration?
He did it last year as well every time he made a tackle, even if it was 5 yards past first down marker. Cam does it whenever he gets a first down as well. So annoying. |

A lot of it is Cam intentionally going down. It just looks weird because he's 6'5. He makes a lot of people miss when he wants to but again it looks weird because all 6'5 guys who are that big look weird running. It's what Calvin would look like if he was trying to make people miss in the open field a lot. |
