1. Geno Smith - Love Geno and would love to see him in KC next year. If we bypass him in the 1st I would take Glennon in the 2nd (if available)
2. Chris Jones - Never heard of him. Would much rather take Jordan Poyer here. CB is a big need as well with the loss of Carr.
3. Sanders Cummings - Again never heard of him. Markus Wheaton would be be a good pick if we lose Bowe. Nico Johnson would be a really good pick to add to our LB corp.
4. DJ Swearinger - We need safety help and every time I have watch DJ I have come away impressed. Could pick here in the 4th.
5. Dan Quessenberry - Again never heard of him. OL depth could always be added no doubt. I however would look to Michael Buchanon or Chris Gragg here.
6. Michael Williams - We do need to add a TE. Good pick.
7. Steve Greer - Never heard of him. Michael Mauti or Ryan Nassib (who won't be here) would be better.
Overall I am disappointed in this mock. I think you overrate several players and underrate several more. I havent heard of half of the prospects you gave us, but that doesn't mean they aren't good or won't be drafted that high, just means I don't know much. I just would have gone in a much different direction. |

No way the Redskins go that much secondary. Instead of Webb in the 5th, I think we would take Taylor, ILB, V.Tech.
But yeah, not so much secondary, especially Ray Ray Armstrong. _________________

You seem to have either forgotten DJ Fluker in this entire draft. Interesting _________________ WR3CK 3M T3CH

I think you forgot to include Mingo. I can't locate him.
Not a bad Steelers draft. If the Steelers bail on Ta'amu then a NT is needed desperately and Jenkins certainly fits the bill. Getting his teammate Williams isn't bad, maybe a little high, but they do need youth at that position. I might go with fellow teammate and ballhawk Rambo but he has character concerns that worry me a little. I really like Johnson in the third. Robinson in the fourth is interesting but if the Steelers go WR I rather have them get a big one instead. Robinson is in the same physical mold of Brown and Sanders. _________________

Fluker is a Junior and I think he stays in school. I may be wrong, but until he declares, I won't be using him. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. And then, you just have to pick the sin you can live with." -Ig Perrish |

Mingo is a Junior and has not had the season many had predicted. He would be best served to stay in school.
The Steelers did bail on Ta'amu. They released him Nov. 12. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. And then, you just have to pick the sin you can live with." -Ig Perrish |

Can't complain for Carolina. Jordan Poyer vs Tony Jefferson in the 2nd is a toss-up, all the picks make sense. |

Rams draft looks very solid in terms of needs. Only thing I'd say is a QB or TE in the 5th over a C. Don't think we go quite that all in on the OL. _________________

Quote: | 30. New England- Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina |
Okay positionally, but would prefer a smaller UT pass-rusher. Dion Jordan is much better value here if on the board - although I suspect he'll have a Chandler Jones like surge in stock value.
Quote: | 62. New England- Baccari Rambo, S, Georgia |
Nice pick, he's really hitting some form again and he's a playmaker.
Quote: | 94. New England- Quinton Patton, WR, La. Tech |
Kind of torn on this one, because he's one of my favourite receivers and has that bit of 'can do everything' the Pats will like. However, not convinced it's a need unless Welker walks. Plus we haven't hit on a receiver in the draft forever.
Quote: | 209. New England (Via Tampa Bay)- Tanner Hawkinson, OT, Kansas |
O-line depth is fine, but we'd need to draft a bonafide starter if Vollmer walks. Not sure this guy offers anything Marcus Cannon or Markus Zusevics wouldn't already.
Quote: | 222. New England- Kenny Anunike, DE, Duke |
If he can rusher the passer, even situationally - then great. Any picks this late are just hopeful. |

The only thing I would change would be round 2. I'd take Eifert over Porter. We need ofensive weapons, and though Chandler's a good RZ target, he can't stretch the field like Eifert can.
Te'o in the 1st is perfect.
In the 4th I'm not sure if I'd want Murray or L. Jones more, but I'd be fine with either.
All in all looks good. _________________

Heck; if it unfolded like THIS, give the Bills E.J. Manuel in the 2nd, and Landry Jones in the 4th. Cut Thigpen immediately, give Fitzpatrick one more year to train the young guys up, then see what we got. _________________ Why have a signature?
