The writing was on the wall when he became a 2-down linebacker this year.. No way the Raiders would keep him and his salary. _________________

Yes. This:

Actually happened vs BJGE. He ran into a Bengal OL who was blocking a Raider instead of the hole right next to them and the law firm ran like 40 or 50 yards. Its on NFL.com highlights |
It happened every week, for the fan paying close attention. I'm almost not exaggerating when I say every week. Always hiding behind teammates being blocked while waiting for the play.... which then passes him by. And if he had the urge to be aggressive for once, it was the wrong gap 9 times out of 10. That's what it looks like when a lazy poor player guesses rather than reads a play. |
Well yeah. That's just the most recent example. Also, you forgot to mention the part where he jogs after the play. Heck, sometimes he'd jog while attempting to tackle. |

Totally forgot that. While Lamarr Houston is 60 yards downfield recovering a fumble (probably after a guy McClain let fly by runs those 60), McClain rolls along 20 seconds later at his own leisurely pace. Thank god I will never have to see him jog after a runner again.
My gosh, I am so disappointed in this guy. We needed everything he was cracked up to be coming out of college so badly. He was the direct opposite of what he was touted to be in every possible way, a crushing blow to this team yet again in the 1st round. |

He might not have been cut after all.
He has taken down those statements from his facebook wall too

The Raiders say Rolando McClain is still on the team. His reps say they have not been notified. McClain, apparently, disagrees #weird |

And poof. Rolando McClain's Facebook wall has been wiped clean of that long thread about the Raiders kinda sorta maybe cutting him |
Maybe its too early to be celebrating Raiders fans? |

Perhaps someone on our staff talked him out of keeping them up, as we want someone to pick him off waivers from us. _________________

Nah, his agent more than likely had the stuff taken down. It's a real bad idea to burn your team on the way out. It's already cost him millions. You can't trick anyone into thinking your a team player now...
It isn't too early to celebrate, there's no going back from things like this. Maybe with Al Davis, not with McKenzie and Allen. |

wow the Raiders are really cleaning house. Unfortunately for the Raiders, unless they hit on every pick this next draft its gonna be a few long years for you fans. But its a good start to get rid of the trash... As for McClain, I could see a Lofa Tatupu type of end for him. _________________

It won't be confirmed until tomorrow. They missed the deadline for waiving players today, so it won't become official until tomorrow.
His release from this team was inevitable. He has been nothing short of embarrassing - both on & off the field.
For all of you who are actually surprised from this move, get ready to be 'surprised' some more. The Raiders will very likely be releasing a lot of players soon after the season ends (Tommy Kelly & Richard Seymour for starters). _________________ (o◕ ‿‿◕o)// |

Now if they resigned Curry, they might be decent... lol
but really, not too surprising. he's straight terrible in coverage, sooooo damn slow. he's just a thumper in a 3-4. _________________
