I think you're being facetious, but... We aren't mathematically eliminated, but we would need to win out and both Cincy and Pittsburgh to lose out with Pittsburgh beating Cincy in their match up. So there's a chance, but there's more likelihood that Henne wins MVP than us making the playoffs. |
I don't think you understand his schtick.

I'm sure he has a decision tree somewhere saved on his computer. Something to the effect of
Player News --> Retiree --> Mediocre --> "Hall of Fame Chances?"
Shoe-in HOF'er --> "Hall of Fame Chances?"
Borderline HOF'er --> Ignore

According to PlayoffStatus.com, they are not officially eliminated

They do however say that their chances of not making the playoffs is greater than 99%.

This dude, totally thought he was going to get to go to a playoff contender and have fun while the eagles paid him for it. Now he gets to rot in Jacksonville and won't have a chance to be the missing piece that gets the FA contract next off season. |
