Just started playing Torchlight 2. It is a million times better than Diablo 3. The flack it gets is warranted. |
I love Torchlight. I have an Engineer on there; total beastmode with that thing and I'm only level 23.

Hmmm. This is a tough one, though I'm sure there are games out there I love that aren't popular.
I will say that I believe Fallout: New Vegas is much better than Fallout 3, which is most likely an unpopular opinion.

Yeah i never actually got to beat it, I was right at the end and my xbox got stolen. Yeah good idea but if they were a quarter of the amount of time, they would've been a lot better off.

I dont think I ever read more then 2-3 but I swear each dream could have been like a movie almost lol.

There was also a Star Wars game for PS2 (NOT Jedi Starfighter), that had lots of cool vehicles. I can't remember the name. It had those hover-tanks in it.

Agreed. Origins is far better, but I definitely had fun playing DA2.

Yea, origins was a better game (though I actually didn't enjoy it quite as much)...but it was flawed too...almost exactly opposite to how DA2 was flawed. If they can Marry the good from both games into DA3 it should be a great game.

Split/Second was probably one of the funnest racing games I've ever played. Wasn't aiming to be realistic in any sense of the word - very much like Burnout, just trying to avoid obstacles, make other guys crash, win the race. It had some time trial versions, your car vs a helicopter...bunch of random stuff, just crazy from top to bottom.
Might have to find a copy and start playing again. That was a fun game.
Also: Red Faction: Guerilla (sp?). That game was fun, taking a sledgehammer and hitting someone with it, baseball style. Turn on the cheat codes, hit a few cars with it, see it fly into orbit. Destroy buildings with explosives, rockets launchers...drive a car into a building while jumping out and hitting a few dudes with a sledgehammer...
