My pipedream would be to stick with Munchak (HC) and Loggains (OC) at the moment, and hire Mike Singletary as our new DC. _________________ Wedding Vow: I promise I will love you until the day you really p-ss me off. |

Wouldn't mind it as he could really help Jake develop.
Though I question how long he'll coach...he's what, 65 now? |

I'd weep tears of joy but I think Holmgren is looking forward to sitting on the beach with a Corona in his hand for the rest of his life _________________

Just thinking of the Seattle Connections, him leaving the Browns and it being floated that he wants to coach again...
Small market.....Green Bayish like.....Hasselbeck on roster to teach offense to Jake......
How much would he command? He been out the game so long and isn't "hot" so he shouldn't break the bank...
A 4 year deal? Sounds about right... Coaches don't need to be with a team for 10 plus years like Fisher was... so him being 65ish or whatever...shouldn't be too big a deal?
Speculation... _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

I would love that hire.. Maybe he could bring back of his old GB Packers coaches.. aka, Andy Reid or Marty Mornhinweg as our OC and bring - Jauron with him from Cleveland as our new DC.
Sounds like a perfect fit to me!
Although, I will be somewhat shocked if Munchak is let go at seasons end. I have a feeling Bud will allow him to go out and pick a new set of coordinators and give him another season or two before making a coaching change, but I would support a Holmgreen hiring. _________________

I'm starting to think that last year was more a fluke than anything. Without much of a training camp, coaching was mostly nullified, and teams relied more heavily on the talent on the field. The 9-7 record may be more attributable to Hasselbeck and his leadership of his offense than to anything Munch or the rest of the coaching staff did.
As far as keeping anyone from this current staff around... that is a huge mistake. Munchack was the guy who went after these coordinators... they were his guys. This season, he tries to make Palmer the scapegoat... but all I've got to say to that is this:
86-137, 62%, 1024 yards, 7.5 y/a, 6 TDs, 2 Ints, 71 long, 94 QB rating
69-132, 53%, 860 yards, 6.5 y/a, 3 TDs, 7 Ints, 39 long, 58 QB rating
Those are Locker's stats this year... the first set of numbers with Palmer as the OC... the second set after Palmer's been gone.
Munchack's scapegoat move backfired... there's no point in not moving on. The whole team has gotten a lot worse... and even if the record doesn't reflect it, this is the worst team and season I've experienced as an Olier/Titan fan... just no leadership whatsoever. _________________
