Ryan Clark is having one of the best seasons of his NFL career, but it is his off-the-field performance giving back to the community that sets him apart. For his efforts, Clark has been named the Steelers 2012 Walter Payton Man of the Year.

He deserves it. Great human being who does a lot of good work off the field. And a hilarious comment guy for the media. Pretty crazy that we could make such mundane FA signings like Clark or Farrior and both guys have Pittsburgh legacies when it's said and done.

The Farrior signing wasn't quite mundane.

Awesome news! I'm not surprised by this one bit, although with all the players nowadays who are active, it's pretty unexpected to think he was the best.

Still pretty awesome. My wife was pretty stoked to hear this as well.

No, but I don't think anyone was expecting him to come in and play like a DPOTY candidate. He was an absolute monster when he first came to Pittsburgh. That defense was so fierce.
