Nice pick with Collins. I think he's going to be a good player. _________________

Didn't know about the age thing, but he looks ready to contribute from what I've seen. _________________

So basically the only change is that I (Carolina) have Detroit's 4th Round Pick | I have Detroits 4th round pick. When I look at the draft thread, I cant figure out what pick I am supposed to have
EDIT:: Looks like I'm out a 4th round pick since Detroit never had a 4th round pick to trade to me. What a clusterf this draft is turning into.

Frankly, I can't blame the draft or the people running it. As a GM, you need to keep track of your picks and your transactions. And I'm not speaking to you, Tommy, this isn't your mess up. But before I made any moves, I went and checked out the trades that effected the 2013 NFL Draft to make sure I knew what picks the Rams had and didn't have. And whenever I made a trade, I made sure to note what pick was traded on my depth chart and whose pick it was(for example Rams 1st instead of Redskins 1st).
If you don't, things get quite confusing. _________________

If you don't, things get quite confusing. | Agreed. I did the same thing. Sucks because the draft is so deep, now I basically have to just live with the fact I traded DeAngelo Williams/Thomas Davis for Cliff Avril.

I think either 1) you should have the option to void the trade or 2) make an exception and award you a 2014 3rd round pick (I know it doesn't affect this mock, really, but it's additional compensation equal to a 4th) _________________

I'll live with it. I just hope in the future the GMs look to see what pics they have and dont have. _________________

Browns Comment on Early Stages of Draft
What do you have to say about the first three picks?
DE Damontre Moore
We felt he was the best pass rusher on the board and best DE in the draft. Our plan is for Moore to start right away at the RE spot and help provide more of a pass rush and presence in the backfield opposite Jabaal Sheard. We feel Moore is a big piece to an already good defense becoming elite.
FS Bacarri Rambo
We were surprised to see the number of safteys left on the board in the third round with Rambo, Jefferson, Williams, McDonald, and Lester. We decided to go with Rambo because, well, we thought he was the best player when he was on the field. He had some run-ins earlier but we believe he is past those and his talent will shine. Rambo gives us a ball-hawk i our defensive backfield who can make an impact play at anytime.
DE Brandon Jenkins
Brandon was a guy we were watching the whole third round. Jenkins has 1st or 2nd round talent but not playing this year hurt his draft stock. In taking Jenkins it gives us another added pass rusher to get to the quarterdeck and gives us depth at the RE spot. We are ecstatic to add Moore and Jenkins to the front seven.
What should we be looking for as we continue into the later rounds?
Value, we want to add value picks to our roster. But we are also considering moving our picks to other teams for value players. We want to put winners on our team and players then can make an impact on the field. _________________

Really good pick by WH. Kinda surprised he fell this far, even though its the nature of mocks. _________________
