| Quote: | The Seattle Seahawks waived WR Braylon Edwards.
It happened hours after Edwards apologized for a previous tweet where he ripped the Jets and took blame away from Mark Sanchez for his struggles. |
Here's the tweet
| Quote: | | "Don't blame Sanchez. I played there. Blame the idiots calling shots. Mark is a beast and will probe it when given a proper chance." |
Good move to waive him? _________________

He hasn't contributed much at all. So there's probably more than one reason they let him go.
also, you're at 666 posts i just noticed. _________________ Kam Chancellor-2012/2013 Season - 100 tackles - 1 FF - 2 FR - 0 INT

| I don't think so. While he hasn't really done too much this season, he's better than most other options out there. But I guess Pete doesn't like his mental lapses given that he's a veteran. |

Who will drop passes in the endzone now?
Kididng - I really thought this was going to be a big move for us, what happened to this guy??? Such a dominant force out of Michigan and at times in the NFL early on.
If we upgrade at WR in the off-season it could be huge for us. Tate, Rice and a FA/Draft guy could be a nice trio. |

Wonder if this has to do with some of his recent twitter remarks he Defended Mark Sanchez and then called out the TV Commentator saying he should watch tape or something like that the one doing our game against the Bears.
I am sure it has more to do with the Carpenter injury though. _________________

I'm not surprised. He doesn't contribute to ST and Golden Tate has been great as of late. _________________

if he made one catch earlier in the year he'd still be on the team _________________ Go Hawks!

True. It's a shame too, because it shadows the great catch he made against the Patriots. We probably wouldn't have won if he didn't make that catch. _________________

I can't deny that. I don't see why we let him go, unless there is a clearly better option ahead of him. I can see Golden Tate being one factor, but Braylon can still contribute. _________________

I'm sure it's a combination of things:
Carpenter's injury - needed to bring up an OG from the practice squad, so we needed a spot on the roster (Carpenter's IR doesn't open a spot, does it?).
Braylon's Knee - I think he's been having significant swelling problems with it and the team doesn't know when he's going to be able to play and when he's going to be out.
Trashing his former FO - He's right (about the Jets' problems being caused more by the shot callers than Sanchez himself... I totally agree), but shouldn't bark about it publicly.
Our WR corps looks *MUCH* more solid now than when we signed B-Easy - Baldwin looks healthy, Rice looks healthy and is contributing, and Tate's starting to shine. None of those three things were the case when we were working out TO and BE, etc. _________________
