I don't think Norv is going to be bitter, we gave him a lot of years to be HC, likely his last chance. _________________

Norv Turner sucks as a HC, no doubt, but he was never a bad OC. Honestly I think its a classic example of a guy who really doesn't have any team management skills but is a good coordinator. Kind of like Romeo Crennel, Cam Cameron (although some Ravens fans would disagree with me), etc.
Of course, Turner's time really could be done and may not be effective even as an OC anymore... I guess we'll find out. _________________ With much cheese,

This is 2-3 years to late in my opinion. Be interesting to see what a new coach and GM will bring to the table for San Diego. _________________ I bought one of those tapes to teach you Spanish in your sleep. During the night, the tape skipped. Now I can only stutter in Spanish.

So instead of firing them now, letting them be with their families for the holidays and getting paid anyway, they instead must work 14 hour days, be away from their families, and suffer through this cruel lame duck period.
Interesting.
In other news, i'll be surprised if that team wins another game this year. _________________ If you're not in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?

Eh divisional game, which as you could see last night, you still see a different Raiders team show up for than has shown up for non-divisional/non-Steelers games this year.
Throw on the fact that the Chargers are a team this season that only show up for 3 quarter per game Literally, if games were only 3 quarters long San Diego would be 8-4 right now and very likely looking to sew up a playoff berth at minimum this weekend in Pittsburgh. That fourth quarter starts and this team just turtles up and dies.
I don't want it to happen (even if it means losing draft position), but losing at home to the Raiders is a very distinct possibility. _________________

Draft position be damned. They better not lose to the Raiders. Sweep them so I can make fun of them all off season. |

I was thinking the same thing. And they will need a new play caller as well it seems... who better than Marty Morninweg?

Barring some really bad play by the Raiders, i'll be picking the Raiders. _________________ If you're not in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?

But he always picks against who he wants to win. Doesn't want to jinx it or something. We do have a vested interest in how Oakland finishes. |

Easily half the WCO coordinators in the league... and another 1/3 of those without WCO familiarity and not named Norv. _________________
