Can't say the Royals aren't trying. Hard to hate a team for going for it.
They have the offensive fire power, but desperately need pitching.

Please let the Rangers trade Olt for Dickey. 38 year old knuckleballer coming of a career year going to pitch in Arlington. Just reeks of disaster.

I'd agree... But then i saw Olt play this year and he couldn't hit or field. Small sample size or not Dickey would make a bigger impact for them trying to win a title right now.

Was it his 40 plate appearances that made you think he can't hit?
So I'm guessing you said the same things about Mike Trout after 2011, too?
I saw Mike Olt all season in AA, and the dude can hit. His fielding wasn't as great as I thought it was coming into the year, but he's not Michael Young out there, I'd say he's about average.
If people really think we'll give up Olt for Dickey they've lost their minds...
