You mention C-Mac as brittle but you want Jones who has spinal stenosis? |
Anyone know why Colin was out this week? He have a sliver or something? Stubbed his toe? Severe case of the hiccups? |
I think he had post concussion symptoms. But he's missed 7 games this year. _________________

It's really sad. We get a good player and he's hurt. _________________

I know it's not popular thinking, but you have to start planning for the likelyhood that McCarthy may never be a healthy player.
With that said, looking for someone who can challenge and maybe take his spot.
I don't want us burned again by waiting of a good player and having no plan.
Just something else I don't like. Things are too hot and cold with CJ. It's either a monster game or an invisible game. He can't seem to get invovled when we are passing. If he don't have the big gains it's pretty much like wasted plays...
I dunno. Maybe we need more of a power runner? _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

I'm with you on both points. McCarthy has been great when healthy but he hasn't been able to stay healthy. His injuries were a concern coming into the NFL and unfortunately it's proven to be the case. At the very least, we need to get LB for depth. It'll be even better to get one who could step in and be a solid/good starter whenever McCarthy goes down.
And yes, RB is still a need for this team. While CJ had a nice stretch of games, he still hasn't shown anything to say he's the bonafide starter no question ask. We should at least get a back to spell CJ with the potential to becoming the starter if CJ goes back in his funk. I guy I've like sinced the beginning of the season was Eddie Lacy but he looks like a solid 2nd round pick at this point. I wouldn't be suprise if he sneaks into the end of the first round by the time the draft comes. I just would like a power back to spell CJ ala LenDale White. To me Jamie Harper isn't that guy. |

Anyway.. trade back for a mid-late 1st, 2nd, and a 4th.
With the 1st and 2 2nds, take a safety, corner, and guard. With the 3rd and 2 4ths, take a defensive end, versatile linebacker, and another safety.
Hopefully our secondary doesn't show any flashes the next 3 weeks to give the front office any doubts about completely revamping everything outside of McCourty and Verner. _________________

Instead of another safety I'd take a RB with one of those 3rds. Ringer isn't going to be the same, Harper has been a disappointment and Reynard isn't much of a RB.
Babs will still be on contract and Makelle Martin should battle too at safety. _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

Lol i saw that and found it hilarious. He sounds like a high school kid. But in all seriousness he probably can help, can't get worse than Skelton and Lindley _________________ Adopt-A-Titan:, Kenny Britt & Coty Sensabaugh |

No.....no he can't. He can barely learn an offense in 3 seasons. Let alone 4 games. _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

He would be sooooooo much better than Skelton and Lindley, that is a no contest to me. At least he actually has SOME talent. _________________

Would you have been nervous had Vince been our QB with the game on the line yesterday?
The correct answer is: There is no reason to be nervous when VY is under center with the game on the line because the ball is going in the endzone. _________________
