| Is it too early to call his first season as a Patriot a bust? He came in with expectations of being our down field WR, and another Redzone target other then Gronk. So far all I've seen from him is one really good catch and a couple of TDs and then nothing. Its seems we are running the same offense as last years offense, Throw it to Welker (Who needs to get paid at the end of the year, he has earned it), Gronk, and Hernandez. Hell I think Edilman may be close to Lloyd in total catches and that says something. So I ask you is it too early or has he been a bust, his first season as a Patriot? |

He's better then any WR here since Moss, he hasn't been great but he hasn't been a bust either. Chad Ochocinco, now that's a bust. _________________

Deion Branch of 2010 was better than Lloyd this season . Not a "bust" but massive disappointment.
We need to call a T.O. _________________

I'd rather have Slater and Stallworth than T.O.
Let's see how Lloyd finishes the year and what he does in the playoffs. _________________

My one big problem with Lloyd has been his unwillingness to get YAC. Too damn soft. _________________

He fought for yards against the Jets two weeks ago, and didn't get a chance to show if he would or not against the Dolphins, although he did throw a nice block on Welker's TD. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

Only in the numbers sense. A lot of Branch's production in 2010 was either when defenses weren't set, blown coverages, etc. Those look good on the stat sheet, but its not stuff you can count on in January.
The back shoulder hasn't worked, but Lloyd has been far better at working the sideline (something that will come in hand down the line) and has made difficult catches here and there. A minor disappointment? Sure. But certainly not a bust.
Lloyd's ability to make plays while covered is superior to Branch in 2010. And that's something that comes in handy during playoff football, when you can't just pick on linebackers and safeties who don't know what they're doing. _________________

Not a bust but also not reaching expectations from us fans. At least Lloyd showed some progress into the system unlike Chad. _________________

| Lloyd is making strides and becoming more and more dangerous. I now see him starting to beat one on one coverage and zone easily. Unlike Chad at that time, Brandon Lloyd understands the offense now. |

When has Brandon Lloyd beaten "one on one coverage easily"?? Maybe a few plays here and there, but it's hardly a regular thing |
