I took:
Cininnati +4.5
Green Bay -7.5
Baltimore -6.5
Seattle -3 |
I'd take:
Seattle
GB
Indy
Houand Cinci I'm not sure. I'd probably take Cinci. |
I have a hard time taking Indy with their swiss cheese run D and Ray Rice becoming the feature of Baltimore's offense after Cam Cameron was fired. If Flacco can protect the ball, I think Baltimore blows them out. |

Exact same here too.
My locks (loves) are Green Bay -7.5 and Baltimore -6.5. I think Minnesota put all they had into last weeks game to get in the playoffs and will get blown out by GB. Also think that Baltimore has played very well in last 3 games and will be inspired with Ray Lewis' last playoffs. Plus, Colts are extremely overrated and just played their "emotional game" for Chuck.
Im not sure about Seattle though. Theyre a good team and all but theyre bad on the road. RGIII is only getting healthier too.
We all know the playoffs are all about emotions. Finding the teams that still have it is key. I think MIN, IND, and HOU have lost theres. |
|
Completely agree. Took a 4-team parlay on the teams mentioned above to try it out, but put most of my money into a 2-team parlay of BALT and GB. I have never done parlays before, and figured the playoffs would be fun to try. I'm not a believer of either Seattle nor Washington to make it far in the playoffs, but defense travels well, and Seattle has a damn good D.[/quote]
If Seattle can sneak by WAS, Im guaranteeing a win @ATL. _________________

You may delete this post if it violates forum rules. And if this offends anyone, I am sorry. However, I just thought that this video can be transfered to the Tebow phenomenon.
In my opinion, it sufficiantly explains the nature of his following of irrational fans and basically legitimizes my inaugural post here on this forum in the "If Tebow is traded???" thread in March 2012.
In a nutshell: The criticism of Tebow does directly attack the identity of his most fanatical admirers (as caused by the tendecy described beginning minute 3.35), hence has to be rejected for the purpose of upholding one's ego and emotional equilibrium.

I am making a list of the old players who deserves a Super Bowl ring and doesn't have one. (still playing)
1. Champ Bailey
2. Ed Reed
3. Tony Gonzalez
4. Brian Urlacher
5. Randy Moss
I thought about adding guys like DeMarcus Ware and Jared Allen but they're not old enough and still have time to get one.
Who am I missing and should Steve Smith and London Fletcher be on that list? _________________

I first thought "Flechter definately belongs on that list, ahead of both Moss and Urlacher" but then I remembered that he was on the Rams team which won the SB. Champ trumps them all, though. He deserves this! Gonzo as well, but I am openly biased. _________________

Moss forced his way out of Minn and NE I dont think he really deserves it. I'd have Fletcher and Smith on there. Justin Smith is 33 and Santana Moss, Andre Johnson and Gates are around that age. I figure they might work since Reed is around that age. _________________

There is a lot Alyssa Milano could do to get me to donate boat loads of money to Unicef. Well, actually I would anyway, but the law of reciprocity is still alive and well, right? _________________ Ninja stealth muggers in the Bellagio has left me in a state of congitive disonance... |

Well, as John Elway said, there are Broncos fans and then there are Tebow fans. _________________ big_palooka:

Well............ we did seem to lose a half dozen or so from this forum. The question is, were they TT or Denver fans?
Since I spotted some of them in the Jets Forum I'd think the answer to the above is obvious. |
