Loved what I saw today. Suarez was absolutely unplayable. Mignolet did his best to keep them in it though. Props to him.
Hendo, Gerrard, and Downing all did well. Downing put in at least two magnificent crosses, but it's pretty much useless when Suarez really isn't one to make a run like that during the run of play.
Onto transfer rumahz:
Someone on twitter who is fairly reliable has said today that Wilfried Bony and Belhanda are targets. Doesn't mean everyone should expect them to sign, just something to think about. I already knew about Bony and had heard something about Liverpool's interest in Belhanda, but wasn't quite sure since it was quite awhile ago about it.
Edit: And this has to be here just cause of all the beauty happening. Dat pass mmmm.

Where do I find this jacket?
Can't find it on the LFC Store and I have seen Hendo and Shelvey wear one in their interview on Youtube. Think it looks nice. _________________

Lol. Forgot about looking on amazon.
Joe Cole's medical seems to be official. Guardian and BBC picking it up.
| Quote: | West Ham will not pay a transfer fee for the England international as Liverpool are prepared to cancel his contract.
The Merseyside club would also pay him a negotiated settlement in order to get his estimated £100,000-a-week salary off the wage bill. |

Yea. There was absolutely no wage structure under the last management. It seems like Henry has been trying to implement one this season. Selling some useful bench players in Bellamy, Maxi and Kuyt because there were going to be squad players but on first team wages.
Also nvm, Cole is official
| Quote: | | 16:32 GMT: DONE DEAL Joe Cole has completed his move to West Ham from Liverpool. The 31-year-old has signed a 2-and-a-half-year deal. |

Tony Evans and Tony Barrett both think that Cole is on well north of 100k per week. _________________

Its behind a paywall, but Evans says that Cole is on "anywhere between £110,000 - £140,000 per week". _________________

Makes me even more happy to be rid of him if that's true. _________________

Great quotes from Rodgers
| Quote: | The arrival of Sturridge has changed that and Rodgers is now in a position to put his plan into practice, even if it does mean that Suárez has to accept taking on a new role for what his manager describes as “the common good of the team”.
“Daniel’s best position is as a central striker,” Rodgers said. “I have said 4-3-3 will become richer because of the type of players. There is not one way to play 4-3-3. You can play one up, a floating No 9 like Luis Suárez and two wingers. You can play one like Daniel Sturridge central, two in and around him narrow, with full backs bombing on.
“The principles of your game are based on your players. I think for Daniel, his best position will be straight through the middle with his pace. I spoke with Luis at length about this a number of times.
“This has been in the plan for a few months. When he played at Ajax he played in behind as a No 10 in between the lines, and he played as a reverse winger from the left side so he wasn’t quite out wide, he was tucked in round the corner. |

If we keep winning I won't care at all but I think it's foolish to get Sturridge to play as a central striker and move Suarez rather than keep Suarez in the position he's been dominating in and then buying players around him. _________________
