Injuries. Back and neck stuff I think, really tough stuff. He was supposed to make his most recent comeback against Roy Nelson last month but had to pull out. I suspect the massive roiding he was doing broke his body down, but that's obviously speculation. _________________

Gladly eat my crow. I did not see that coming at all. What a performance by Cain. I had no idea what so ever that he'd win, let alone dominate JDS. _________________

Most likely very accurate speculation. But I do miss watching him either getting a knock out or gassing out after a minute. _________________

It was also odd the way he got tired, just like Shogun. He starts to fade early, but never really fully goes away. There were multiple spurts though out the fight where it looked like he might have more in the tank than it seemed, just like Shogun when he tires early, but never totally fades. It wasn't this total drain like Coleman, Baroni, Gomi, Penn, or Mir, to the point where they are just done and can't even hold their hands up. It's like some kind of Brazilian gas out or something. Weird. _________________ Equal Opportunity Hater

Phil Baroni. I love that guy.
The way I saw it, JDS didn't really do anything R2 or 3 which is why he lloked relatively fresh come R4 and R5. I think Joa and Anik oversold Cain's cardio from the 3rd round on too, he was definitely exhausted. _________________

Alliance MMA and AKA are my two favorite gyms. Greg Jackson is such a clown.

We've got a Hell of a run of MMA cards coming up whether it be UFC, the last Strikeforce card or Bellator. Truly is an exciting time to be a MMA fan. _________________

Baroni needs to spend less time on his physique and more time on cardio. He carries way too much muscle mass. _________________

This advice may have been useful like 8 years ago. Too late now. I'm surprised he still gets big money fights. _________________ Equal Opportunity Hater

The last time I saw Baroni fight was when Amir Sadollah beat him in 2009. He looked like a tired, punch drunk fighter back then. I can only imagine how bad he looked last week. _________________

What a freaking low-life. |
I would love if he gets fed up with the sketchy boxing situation and signs with the UFC. Give him Struve, see how long it takes for a middle tier HW to rip his arm off. Too bad stuff like this is all talk. _________________

I wonder why this guy is being an attention you-know-what. It's not like Fury is Charlie Zelenoff; he's a top 10 HW and is undefeated. Why run your mouth to an MMA champ if you're essentially in the title picture as it is boxing-wise? This only irritates me because I'm a big Cain fan, but it just makes no sense altogether.
Oh, and in case you didn't get the Charlie Z reference:

You should find a vid where he calls out 'Reem (and he's not joking, trust me) on that channel. I don't think he took it down. _________________
