The only ones I'd even consider keeping are Gary Gibbs and Emmitt Thomas _________________

Down with Gibbs and Carthon. Reported that Reid has begun to put together a staff. Got any idea what THAT loooks like? _________________ season ticket holder from 1977-92. Personal friends with many retired chiefs. Great times. |

Dave Toub is a possibility as a ST Coach, as he likely feels slapped in the face by the Bears. _________________

The Reid connection is there.

During his stint with Philadelphia (2001-03), Toub helped Eagles special teams coordinator John Harbaugh earn 2001 NFL Special Teams Coach-of-the-Year honors and the Eagles won the special teams titles in Toub's first and last season there. A ninth-round draft choice of the Eagles in 1985, Toub returned to Philadelphia 16 years later (2001) as the team's special teams/quality control coach.

I don't know why Toub isn't getting more serious consideration as a head coach candidate. In fact, I am not sure why his name hasn't been mentioned as a potential replacement for Smith in Chicago. After Ray Horton, Toub was my second choice as HC for the Chiefs. _________________

I get the impression Armstrong might be the 2013 Rooney Rule interview. We interviewed him on New Year's Day along with Koetter in Atlanta. _________________

Gary Gibbs, Emmitt Thomas, Maurice Carthon, Anthony Pleasant and Otis Smith are the only ones I'd consider bringing back unless Reid thinks he can work well with Zorn. Don't think that's very likely, though. _________________

Yeah I would like to see Pleasant back. Gotta think he was the one most responsible for Poe's development this season. In fact we saw some improvement with most of the DL. |

Source with knowledge of the situation confirms that after making 4 coaching stops with Andy Reid, Marty Mornhinweg will not go w/him to KC |

John Dorsey to KC makes sense. His wife is a lawyer in a KC based law firm but works from Wisconsin. |
Nice readon Dorsey (from 2009):
