I saw no rules for restructuring contracts of current players. How many can be done. What is allowed. _________________

Is there an option or "window" to resign a team's own Free Agents prior to them hitting FA? Similar to the real-life window _________________

Who said we're allowing you to staff for the Bucs?
And here I was going to steal you away if I needed to field a FFMD All-Stars group to staff a club with a low turnout. Eff that now! _________________

A couple of suggestions:
1 Don't let teams cut their bottom of the roster guys and award themselves cap space. Last year I saw teams cut 15 guys from the 80 man offseason roster and claim they had increased their cap room by 6 mil. It doesn't work that way in real life so it shouldn't in the mock. Use the rule of 51 and the cap space will be easier to keep track of.
2 When a team is trying to re-sign one of their free agents before the tag deadline, make sure the offer is higher than the player is likely to get in free agency. There's no reason for a player to give up testing the market unless he gets a great offer. Last year the Talent Agency did a terrible job of matching players values in FFMD to contracts. That left things like Tracy Porter getting 18 mil per year due to the artificial shortage of free agents. |

I still don't really like that much since the cap space in FFMD is different from real life. IIRC, in real life last year, Jags were ~top 3 in cap space, but in FFMD they were middle-of-the-pack. _________________
