"We can win" is confident, "we will win" is entitled and annoying. As a coach it would bug me. |
"We can win" is not confident. It goes without saying you can win. Can is the exact opposite of confident. |
Not literally just those three words, expressing the sentiment that you're confident in your plans and your team and if you execute correctly you'll win is different from declaring it as your destiny. |
I'm not down with the whole destiny thing either. I want my guys that think they will win, and act like it. I will grant you however, publicly it needs to be handled a different way. Maybe that's what's at play here with Bolden. |

We all know that, guy hates being hit more than Randy Moss. _________________

Well, I was watching at work last year and I'll be at work again so hopefully that counts for something. I wore Celtics socks so I'll wear those again. _________________ Yo, is that time machine done yet? |

I re-watched the entire week 3 game.
I honestly still can't believe we lost that game. McCourty dropped two INT's, Arrington slipped and fell on what would have been an easy INT on their game winning drive. Aside from the refs, we blew that game big time. Easily should have been a W.
Sorry for bringing up bad memories. _________________

Really hope I see the 'Brady audible, RB Direct snap' play this game.

Also watched A Football Life with Kurt Warner and they drew up a play where Warner walked away looking like he was going to call a Timeout but then the ball was snapped to the RB. Maybe we could bring something like that to the table. _________________
