| IMO these are possibly the two best running backs of all time, I'm just curious to see who the majority of you guys think was the better RB. |

| Barry's father (RIP) thinks it was Jim Brown and its not even close. He said this during his hall of fame induction. |

His father also said he was a better RB than his son - so I don't think you should put much faith in his opinion. |

| These were polar opposites in running style, physical make up and their playing role. Barry was always good for a large running gain to up his average and numbers. My guess being that Brown did not have many negative rushing plays. Brown was the league's best rusher for many seasons and was the best in YD. He was playing football before my time and guess he would be my pick here based on being more consistant as a player. |

Went with Jim Brown, you needed like 4 guys to tackle him before he went down.
Both were very different style of runners though. Brown could do it all though. |

Barry Sanders could play in any ERA with his style designed to make people miss. Brown would not be able to.
Barry Sanders is the best ever IMO so Barry for me. |

| Funny in that both had a few years shaved off their careers due to incompetent management. |

Barry was jaw-dropping; I'd pay money just to see Barry Sanders play, can't say I'd do the same for Jim Brown. As far as just being a football player, its awfully close but I'm a sucker for the way Barry runs. _________________
