I don't understand the trade. Pittsburgh has absolutely no need to trade up for Williams there. No one is going to get him between 13-16... Why trade up? _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

He's a nice player now, but has to improve on a few things before I'd call him a top 5 player, and even then I dont think he can be special. Banks, on the other hand, is a great player, and could be a true #1 in this league, which I'm not sure Milliner can be. _________________ I <3 Kate Upton and Ezekiel Ansah, just FYI

Guy can't run zone read, he doesn't offer us anything that Nick wouldn't. | He makes sense because Vick is likely to leave and wouldn't take you anywhere anyways, Foles, while he has upside, isn't an exciting player to call your franchise. Geno is a very good QB, who would work very well with Chip Kelly, and those other offensive weapons. I disagree that he can't run a zone read, but I do think he should be a pro style type QB who can run when needed. And, I think he'd look good in green. |
First off Geno Smith isn't an exciting franchise player, if anything he is a horrible reach at #4. The guy isn't good. No quarterback in this draft is any good.
Also he isn't a running quarter back and has no business running a zone read.
We already have Nick Foles and wouldn't have to waste a top 5 pick on him. | 1st paragraph is very debatable.
I agree he isn't a running QB, but he is a QB who can run.
Nick Foles isn't a franchise QB right now, and you'd need some serious luck for him to be one. |
Well matter of opinion then. I don't think Geno is a cant miss fit for what Chip would want to do. _________________

Why trade up? | I don't think it's crazy to think Carolina or New Orleans could find a use for him. I could see Dallas trying to move up to snag him as well, so someone will want to secure him before anyone else can, and I think you guys would be smart to do so. _________________ I <3 Kate Upton and Ezekiel Ansah, just FYI

Dont get me wrong, my number one option would be a trade down. We need as many picks as possible. I just think that its funny we do it within a rival, but if thats the only option, then I would do it. Also I dont like Rhodes that much. _________________ First jersey purchased: Jamarcus Russell.

To trade up from 11 to 3, we'd probably have to give up at least a 1st next year, maybe a 2nd or 3rd rounder this year....HELL NO. Sit and take Fisher, we have too many needs to go all the way up and make that trade. Just no... _________________

| CHIEFS: No hate just not sure Wilson is worth #1 pick. Not sure he is a top ten, esp. coming off a very, very down year. If he had come out last year, then very possible. He has the tools and wouldn't mind a trade down and then possibly take him. |

Interesting seeing Wilson going #1, I like the bears pick up. Solid guard pick up _________________

Too high for a guard. Sheldon Richardson should be the pick. _________________

Really doesn't make much sense for the Vikings.
Jones can play OG, which is a team need, but he's better as a C (where we already have a probowl level guy), and there are better OG options out there.
A WR (Allen or Patterson), a LB (Ogletree or Minter), or a NT (Short or Jenkins) would all be better picks.
My preference would be Alec Ogletree. |
