Just curious...If the Seahawks wanted to, they couldn't even increase a bonus to him? _________________

Tell his agent to sign a contract with NFL network. Prob the smartest guy I've heard on the network so far. _________________

that's his wife.
and he deserves it. football is a violent sport. there's no way a starting QB should be making 300,000 or whatever he's making |
I know what you meant, but I sort of laughed at what you said. It's funny that being paid $300,000 is considered basically nothing when you are playing a damn game. However, I understand what you meant... he's not making much compared to most other quarterbacks in the league.
Anyway, like others have said... the rules state that he can't receive a raise yet. Wilson's agent or whoever is advising him should know this. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee

Should have worn high heels to the combine if he wanted to be paid like a first rounder. If he keeps producing he'll get his paycheque, I'm sure the Seahawks will find a way to keep him happy in the meantime. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS GO!

They're overrated & not making the Playoffs next season.
8-8 or 9-7 best for Seattle. (& No Playoffs) |

Conspiracy theory here but it might of been made up Russell Wilson never talked to his agent about this and they know they can't do anything for 3 seasons. _________________

The problem with that approach is it could turn Wilson against the team, which would make eventually resigning him dicey-- why not due what the D-rays do in MLB offer him a long term mid range QB contract- its a massive raise but it locks him up long term and since NFL contracts aren't guaranteed you can drop him if it doesn't work out. |
