Yeah, we've been bad in almost all areas. Bryz despite the score board and Laughton are the only one that has shown a lot

Just got back from the Joe after the home opener. Disappointed, but really cool still. The Holmstrom tribute was amazing and Tootoo is going to become a crowd favorite in no time. Can't believe this offense has (essentially) been shut out two out of three games already this season. gonna be a long short season in Detroit.

oh, and re Brunner to DetroitSpirit - he has been the guy I've been saying will breakout all offseason, I'm just saying he's not next in the line of Datsyuk/Zetterberg. Filppula type above average player imo

It was an awesome game indeed. Very Happy

Yep,Orr got the best of him this time. I give the Leafs props. They are relentless.

The third period should be awesome.

To be honest, I thought it was a draw. Englannd got some nice shots in.

Should be a fun period

Lundqvist is obviously a god, but he really does get some help from his shot blockers. The Rangers block soooo many shots.

The Leafs played a solid third period to close out the win. They took advantage of the Pens mistakes. Good solid road win.

Gaborik ends it for the Rangers with an OT goal. Both sides had terrible periods (Bruins in the 1st, Rangers 2nd) but the Rangers really got it going late in the third and carried it over into overtime. Gaborik is way too good to give time and space to.

Small sample size, but he's showing the potential to be a 1st line PF.

If he keeps this up, nobody will remember Hodgson in Vancouver. Cool

Lupul suffered a broken arm in the game against the Penguins.
